Elements of the Earth is run by Chinese Medicine Practitioner, acupuncturist and herbalist Tina Camilleri.
Tina has over fifteen years’ experience in complimentary medicine, and she is well known for her caring, genuine approach, as well as her ability to educate and inspire others on their path to wellness.
Tina treats patients with a wide range of imbalances, but her particular areas of interest are women's health (teenage to post-menopausal), chronic pain and inflammatory disorders, mental/emotional well being, anxiety, depression and stress-relief. For the past 5 years she has been working with a team of osteopaths, supporting patients in the treatment of chronic pain and inflammatory disorders, particularly facial pain, TMJ syndrome and tooth grinding. She is also passionate about helping people eat well and understand their body’s nourishment needs (physical, mental and emotional).
While much of Tina’s work deals directly with healing the physical body, her emphasis is always on the spirit of healing. She draws on Eastern medicine’s holistic approach to wellness that aims to treat the root cause of imbalances, not just the symptoms, and she works closely with her patients in creating a treatment program that works best for them. Her treatments combine acupuncture, high quality herbal medicines and holistic lifestyle counselling with practical advice on how to eat in harmony with the seasons, and how to live a healthier, more well-aligned life. As part of a treatment Tina may suggest simple, nourishing recipes to increase immunity and help digestion, as well as gentle exercises and breathing techniques.
Alongside her grounding in the traditions of Chinese Medicine Tina also draws on the wisdom of Daoism, Ayurveda, seasonal and Earth-based practices within her treatments which are areas she has been committed to studying for over 15 years.
Tina's is a thoughtful, compassionate and sensitive practitioner with a unique and powerful healing style.
