Elements of the Earth is run by acupuncturist and herbalist Tina Camilleri.

Tina has over fifteen years of experience in complementary medicine and is well known for her caring, genuine approach, as well as her ability to educate and inspire others on their path to wellness.

Tina treats a wide range of patients at her Blue Mountains clinic, with a focus on psycho-emotional wellbeing, chronic pain management (including the mental and emotional aspects of pain), mental health support, anxiety, stress relief, and support for major life transitions. She collaborates closely with those experiencing chronic facial pain, including TMJ syndrome and teeth grinding, an area in which she has completed additional training. Tina also devotes a significant portion of her practice to supporting patients through the sacred cycles of menstruation, pregnancy, perimenopause, the "Second Spring" of menopause, and the wisdom years from the 60s to 100s (working with centenarians has been a highlight of her clinical work).

Connecting in conversation is a key part of each session with Tina, and she listens deeply to her patients, providing a safe and nurturing space for stories to be shared. To ensure full support and attention is provided, there is only one acupuncture patient having treatment at a time, which also means there is ample opportunity for questions.

For those interested in food and nutrition, Tina also offers 5 Element food support. She has done additional training in food therapy from a Chinese medicine perspective and is passionate about shifting the conversation away from "clean vs dirty" into a more seasonal, intuitive version of eating that includes sensory pleasure and joy, not calorie counting and shame. Tina loves cooking and trying different foods, and for patients in need of inspiration she can provide recipe support and medicinal food ingredients, including for those who are gluten-free or have food allergies.

While much of Tina’s work engages the physical body, her emphasis is always on the spirit of care and restoration. She draws on East-Asian medicine’s holistic philosophy to explore the patterns behind imbalances, rather than focusing solely on symptoms, and she collaborates with her patients to create personalised treatment plans.

Alongside her grounding in Chinese Medicine, Tina draws on the wisdom of Daoism, seasonal and earth-based practices, and the restorative benefits of nature. Her treatments reflect both classical training and a deep respect for the emotional and energetic layers that shape wellbeing.

Tina is a thoughtful, compassionate, and sensitive practitioner with an intuitive and personalised approach to care.
