Tina is a passionate and enthusiastic herbalist, acupuncturist and plant lover/researcher with over fifteen years of experience in complementary medicine. She is well known for her caring, genuine approach, and her ability to educate and inspire others on their path to wellness. She treats a wide range of patients at her Blue Mountains clinic, with a focus on psycho-emotional wellbeing, chronic pain management (including the mental and emotional aspects of pain), anxiety, stress relief, and support for major life transitions.

She also devotes a significant portion of her practice to supporting patients through the sacred cycles of menstruation, pregnancy, perimenopause, the "Second Spring" of menopause, and the wisdom years from the 60s to 100s. Working with centenarians has been a particular highlight of her time in practice.

Facial and jaw pain are another key focus. Tina works closely with patients experiencing chronic facial pain, tooth grinding, and TMJ pain or TMD (temporomandibular disorder). Her approach is informed by additional study in facial and oral health from a Chinese medicine perspective, as well as training in olfaction, gut health, and the microbiome, exploring how digestive function may influence systemic and sensory patterns.

For those interested in food and nutrition, Tina offers Five Element food support. She is passionate about shifting the conversation away from "clean vs dirty" into a more seasonal, intuitive version of eating that includes sensory pleasure and joy. She loves cooking and trying different foods, and for patients in need of inspiration, she can provide recipe support and medicinal food ingredients, including for those who are gluten-free or have food allergies.

What to expect when you come for a treatment

Each session begins with conversation — a chance to connect, reflect, and share what’s unfolding in your body and life. Tina listens with care and depth, creating a space that feels safe, calm, and genuinely supportive.

To ensure full support and attention, there is only one acupuncture patient having treatment at a time, which also means there is ample opportunity for questions and reflection.
The first session runs for 90 minutes to allow a full picture to emerge, while follow-up appointments are typically one hour, with a few longer sessions available each week for deeper support.

Herbal formulas are usually blended while you wait and are made in small, bespoke batches to reflect seasonal changes, herb sustainability, and individual presentation.
